Why a fibre laser
Lasers aren’t all the same. A CO2 laser, the kind most engraving shops use, can only mark metal that is coated or anodised, or bare metal treated with a marking spray. That leaves a surface mark. A fibre laser engraves the bare metal itself, so we can mark stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, aluminium and titanium, and go properly deep where it needs to last. We run two fibre lasers, so batches of tools, tags or plates are finished quickly, and one-off jobs don’t wait behind a big order.
Knives, tools and kit
Kitchen and chef’s knives, pocket knives and multitools engraved with a name or logo; spanners, sockets and power tools marked with your company name or postcode to discourage theft and help prove ownership; and hip flasks, cufflinks, lighters, dog tags, pet tags, bottle openers and metal business cards.
Plates, tags and parts
Stainless and aluminium nameplates, serial and rating plates, valve tags and equipment ID, plus logos and part numbers on machined components. See engraved labels and nameplates for industrial jobs.

What affects the price
Every job is quoted individually. These are the things that make the difference:
- The item and metal: stainless, carbon steel, brass, aluminium or titanium
- The size of the engraving
- Surface mark or deep engrave: deeper takes longer
- How many, and whether each one is different (serials, names)
- Setting up a jig for odd-shaped items
- Design or lettering work
Send us photos, sizes and quantities and we’ll give you a free, fixed quote.
