Printed, cut and engraved

We UV print legends, scales and logos in full colour, laser cut acrylic panels with every hole and cut-out in place, and engrave anodised and bare aluminium for markings that won’t wear off. Graphic overlays can be printed on the reverse of clear film so the print is protected beneath the surface.

Who we make them for

Control panels and machine fascias, test equipment, audio gear, guitar pedals and synthesizers, amateur radio and hobby electronics, kiosks and displays, and restoration panels for vintage equipment. We’re used to working from a panel drawing with exact hole positions.

Design and enclosure together

Send a DXF, a PDF drawing or a photo of the old panel, and we’ll check the layout with you. Because we also do 3D design and 3D printing, we can make the enclosure, knobs and brackets that go with it.

  • How many panels: one prototype or a short run
  • Whether you have a drawing or need it drawn up
  • Enclosures, knobs or brackets to go with it

FAQ

Front Panels & Graphic Overlays: common questions

What drawing do you need for a front panel?

A DXF or PDF with the outline, hole positions and sizes is ideal. A dimensioned sketch or the old panel to copy works too.

Can you engrave anodised aluminium panels?

Yes. Engraving removes the anodised layer to give a bright, permanent mark. We can also engrave bare aluminium with our fibre lasers.

Can you make just one panel?

Yes. One-off prototypes are welcome, and we keep your files for repeat runs.

How much does front Panels & Graphic Overlays cost?

Every job is quoted individually, because the price depends on the size and material: acrylic, aluminium or overlay film; how many holes and cut-outs; printed, engraved, or both; how many panels: one prototype or a short run. Send us the details and we’ll give you a free quote.
